Coco Republic
LPA partnered with Bokor Architecture + Interiors and the Coco Republic team to deliver a high-impact lighting solution for Coco Republic’s new showroom in Burnside Village in Adelaide. Having an established relationship with the architects, LPA was engaged early to improve upon the existing spot lighting system used in previous stores, with a brief centred on improving luminaire performance, energy efficiency, reduced glare and flexibility for visual merchandising.
At the core of the lighting scheme, we utilised the JUNE II spotlights, which were Casambi-enabled to provide wireless dimming and flexible control throughout the showroom. Unlike previous systems that required manual lens changes to adjust beam angles, the JUNE II offered a sleek design and highly adaptable zoomable focus lens that allowed for quick on-the-fly adjustments without the need for additional lens attachments. This significantly reduced the number of fittings needed in the store layout, saving valuable time during visual merchandising setup and cutting long-term costs.
LPA provided a full suite of services, including lighting design, lux calculations, on-site assistance, aiming, Casambi commissioning and in-store focus training for staff. The system design prioritised visual comfort and retail performance, ensuring each fixture was strategically positioned.
What set this project apart was the LPA’s consistent onsite presence and adaptable approach throughout the store construction and fit out. From initial concepts through to final commissioning, the team worked closely with the architect and client to ensure the lighting enhanced product visibility and customer experience.
This project exemplifies how integrated design, hands-on support and thoughtful product selection combined with LPA’s technical expertise and tailored, responsive service can transform a retail space, delivering improved performance and a seamless visual identity.
