We’re proud to have partnered with Telstra and worked closely with Cara Interior Design Management on their latest retail concept, which focuses on redefining the customer experience in-store. Lighting played a crucial role in shaping this innovative space, designed to seamlessly connect the brand with its customers and create an environment that fosters future retail experiences.
For this project, we used Nani downlights as wall washers, highlighting the shelving displays, while the Legend downlights provided general illumination throughout the sales floor. LED strip lighting was strategically integrated into the shelves, creating a well-defined and inviting space that enhances the customer journey. These elements were key to ensuring that different zones within the store were clearly defined, improving the overall flow and experience for visitors.
The new FRE 1.5 store design includes open floor plans, multiple consultancy spaces, product displays, a bespoke gallery, and a unique accessory wall—all coming together to provide customers with an intuitive, future-forward shopping experience. The lighting design not only enhances the aesthetic but also supports Telstra’s goal of simplifying and enhancing customer service. Each zone is thoughtfully illuminated to provide clarity and comfort, ensuring that every interaction within the store feels personalised and seamless.
By combining lighting solutions with an open and inviting layout, we helped Telstra and Cara Interior Design Management realise their vision for the future of retail—one that connects people, technology, and innovation in meaningful ways.
