Farage Flagship Store

Farage’s flagship store in Sydney conceived by interior designer Greg Natale merges exquisitely high ceilings with exposed brick walls and rails of clean-cut tailoring. As part of the design, Farage set about making the most of the existing heritage building space.

LPA was immersed as part of the client project team from the get go as a high-quality lighting solution was seen as a key to success. The team set out by visiting a number of Farage’s existing stores to truly appreciate Farage’s unique brand values as well as conducting a number of site visits to ensure familiarisation with the space where heritage restrictions posed significant constraints.

Working very closely with Greg Natale Design to build on the lighting concept, particular attention was paid to ensuring lux levels were harmonious with the carefully selected finishes throughout. Working within the heritage constraints the team designed the lighting scheme to include such elements as ‘floating’ pendants cleverly concealing a custom metal frame necessary to meet the restricted number of suspension points.
