HR Adviser
This is a truly collaborative role working alongside LPA Group’s senior leaders to plan, organise, direct, and influence all HR related activities autonomously. This role is based in our fantastic new head office in Cremorne, Melbourne. LPA Group is a global organisation that is focused on delivering sustainable energy and lighting solutions across commercial, Government and retail sectors.
The HR Advisor is responsible for working with the Finance Manager and Chief Executive Officer to manage the people strategy initiatives across reporting & analysis, compliance, compensation & benefits, talent management, productivity & morale, occupational health & safety, learning & development, and employment relations.
This exciting new opportunity will suit a collaborative, proactive and organised individual. This is a new stand-alone role within the business so the candidate will be able to grow and develop the position.
Your duties will include a wide range of items including but not limited to:
- Provide timely day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees in workforce planning, job design, recruitment and on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, conflict resolution and off-boarding.
- Review modern awards, national employment standards and adherence to equal opportunity policies to ensure organisational compliance.
- Manage the full employment lifecycle from sourcing key talent, conducting the recruitment process to exit interviews and managing employee payroll related queries.
- Identify any existing or potential HR issues, and recommend the required solutions for management consideration
- Plan and schedule employee learning and development activities to ensure opportunities for professional development in line with capability framework.
- Manage the annual and half-year performance review process and assist management with role capability assessments and structured development plans
- Regular reporting to management on key people metrics around leave liability, recruitment costs, remuneration analysis, absenteeism, succession planning, turnover, and training and development opportunities.
- Support and provide directions to achieve a safe work environment including implementing relevant safety training, opportunities to improve safety performance and a positive safety culture.
- Coordinate administrative functions relating to employee benefits, social activities, and travel.
Lighting Designer
This exciting opportunity will suit a collaborative, proactive and highly skilled designer. The candidate will be able to take an approved concept through to design development and completed documentation.
Your duties will include a wide range of items including but not limited to:
- Creation of new design concepts for retail brands
- Be responsible for existing brand store roll-out designs
- Assisting the Sales team, by taking the lead in design meetings with selected clients for roll out and single-site projects
- Contribute to establishing lighting concepts and prepare design documentation for creative lighting, ranging from lighting design work to presentations
- Communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide deliverables that meet required codes and quality assurance standards
- Lighting calculations, lighting layouts, luminaire schedules and specifications, energy code compliance
- Collaborate with the design team to meet department goals
Project Coordinator
We are looking for a qualified Project Coordinator to join our team based in Cremorne, Melbourne. Reporting to the Victorian Operations Manager, we are seeking someone who is looking to learn and develop a career to join our team.
LPA Lighting and Energy Solutions have over 30 years of experience in providing lighting and related services across all industry sectors. With 10 international offices, and proudly part of the global LPA Energy Group, we are constantly expanding our solutions including solar and IoT technologies to drive energy efficiencies across the brand.
The ideal candidate would be an energetic self-starter with a passion for customer service. Experience in technical lighting and specification experience would be advantageous.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing Opportunities & Orders into Netsuite CRM system
- Managing the lifecycle of projects from raising quote requests, revisions, datasheet approval, internal purchase orders to invoicing
- Liaise with the local & overseas suppliers
- Communication with the client regarding queries, delivery details etc
- Work closely with the sales team to effectively & accurately communicate relevant project information and provide sales support
- Chase and process payment for cash sales
- Liaise with the logistics & warehouse departments for accurate planning of order fulfilment
- Liaising with freight companies for lost or missing freight
- Creating export documentation for export orders

Product Sales Support

Sales Support
The role is responsible for conceptual development of the lighting component for a construction project and manage the implementation including plans, schedules, budgets and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong organisational skill, strong customer service and/or sales background, excellent personal presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, highly flexible and adaptable, and a strong team player.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create leads, prospects, and quotes for sales team.
- Answer incoming calls and emails via website interactions and customer service enquiries sent to internal sales.
- Work closely with sales staff on open orders and quotes in NetSuite.
- Update quotes and opportunities as requests are received.
- Follow up open quotation requests and update sales team as needed.
- Work with sales team on alternate packages.
- Prepare data sheets for specification & alternate packages.
- Assist the sales team in processing orders for hand over to the project coordinators.
- Liaise with other departments on product-specific requirements for projects.
- Assist sales team in day-to-day operations to provide information to customers.
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project.
Abingdon – Oxon, United Kingdom

Reporting to the Project Manager, this person will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of the lighting requirements for our clients’ projects, working closely with the Sales and Design teams, delivering single-site projects, as well as multi-site rollouts across multiple sectors, in the UK & EMEA.
This exciting opportunity will suit a proactive and organised team player, comfortable working internally with colleagues and externally with clients and suppliers across Europe, Middle East & Africa.
The candidate will be able to take an approved concept from quotation to delivery, and everything in between.
Your duties will include a wide range of items including but not limited to:
- Handling a complete portfolio of clients, becoming the first point of contact for this client group across the UK and EMEA region
- Manage major projects from Sales & Design handover
- Support the Sales team with client interactions, quotations, stock information etc
- Manage the process flow of opportunities through the design, quotation and delivery phases ensuring all documents are submitted on time
- Manage stock levels and product procurement to ensure orders can be met on time

We are seeking someone who is looking to learn and develop a career in our team. You will have technical lighting and specification experience working in a similar role or an industry closely aligned with lighting.
Sales Support – NSW, Australia
We are looking for a qualified Sales Support to join our commercial team in our Sydney office, based in Alexandria. Ideally the candidate would have minimum 5 years lighting experience with commercial product knowledge and a proven record of working with larger contractors, builders & engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales staff on open orders and quotes in NetSuite
- Create leads, prospects, and quotes
- Follow-up with purchasing on estimated ship dates
- Follow-up with assembly on build
- Notify customers of all changes in ETA immediately
- Follow-up with customer service on open orders
- Follow-up on pending estimates/layouts
- Work with Project Managers and Sales Staff on alternative packages, sourcing additional products to complete proposals
- Answer incoming calls and emails via website interactions and customer service inquiries sent to inside sales
Requirements:
- Project Management Experience within the lighting sector
- Understand reading construction and schematic drawings
- Should be articulate and able to interact well with clients both via phone and in a face to face meeting situation
- Works well within a team and can take direction.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Solid administrative capabilities; accurate, strong attention to detail, and data entry skills
- Strong communicator with customer service attitude; team player, self-starter with sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel
Preferred Job Requirements
- Five (5) years of progressive lighting experience.
- Experience with CRM software and principles.
- Commercial lighting product knowledge
- Proven record of working with large contractors, builders and engineers
Business Development Manager – Melbourne, Victoria
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company in lighting projects. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing a new sales pipeline and account management.
Responsibilities:
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business
- Maintain existing business relationships
- Monitor sales pipeline using our internal system
- Manage end to end sales process with internal teams including warehouse and project teams
